Whether you are a seasoned rower or a complete beginner, our club offers a supportive and inclusive community that can’t wait to welcome you.
For the younger rowers, our club works in conjunction with the local High Schools providing a great opportunity to learn the sport and make lifelong friends.
Joining information is detailed below and for those interested in the School teams, please talk to your Secondary School to enquire about joining the team.
WANT TO JOIN THE WHAKATANE ROWING CLUB?
MEMBERSHIP FEES
Novice and First Year Members = $500 (incl gst)
+ RNZ Licence Fee approx $100, BOPRA Licence Fee $55, Regatta seat fees, trailer fees, marquee site fees and uniform cost.
Competitive Membership = $700 (incl gst)
+ RNZ Licence Fee approx $100, BOPRA Licence Fee $55, Regatta seat fees, trailer fees, marquee site fees and uniform cost.
Masters Rowers = $500 (incl gst)
+ RNZ Licence Fee, BOPRA Licence Fee, Regatta seat fees, trailer fees, marquee site fees and uniform cost if incurred.
Casual Monthly Membership = $60/month
Note: Maximum three months. After three months fees are $400.
Casual by arrangement = $10 per session
Learn to Row = $50
Restricted membership = $350*
Note: This is at the Committee’s discretion in exceptional circumstances only
Invoice for Full Subscription will be in August 2023.
Payment options include -
Pay in full.
Pay in 4 equal amounts prior to Christmas 2023.
Regular installments via automatic payment prior to Christmas 2023.
Seat, Trailer & Marquee fees are charged post regatta.
Note: Family discount of $50 for 2nd and subsequent members (not accumulative).
